Julienne Marshall Hudson Scholarship Fund
Donation protected
Julienne Marshall Hudson taught voice for 29 years at the Rockland Conservatory of Music. She left a lasting impression on generations of vocal students, and the goal of this fund is to continue the gift that she gave to so many.
This scholarship will support the education of voice students at the Rockland Conservatory on a yearly basis, and depending on need will go towards a full scholarship for one student or a partial scholarship for up to three.
We (Glenn & Jonathan Hudson) will be starting the fund with a $5000 donation, and are hoping for that to be matched to ensure the scholarship can continue for at least the next 10 years.
Julienne is missed by many, but her voice is never far from our hearts. We are lucky to have recordings of her songs for us to enjoy, and you will forever be able to listen to her music here: https://soundcloud.com/juliennemarshallhudson
Follow the SoundCloud page to be updated when new tracks of Julienne's are available, as we will be uploading from her archive over the coming months. Currently available are songs from her 2019 jazz and blues set with Albert Ahlf at UpLounge, and the title album from her 1980s new wave band, Identical Strangers.
Her obituary can be viewed here: https://www.lohud.com/obituaries/wjn166171
Thank you for your contributions, your love, and for keeping Julienne's memory with you.
