Gavin is 9 year old happy caring loving boy who struggles with things people do not realize . He has been diagnosed BiPolar, Aspbergers, Schrizophenia, Sensory Integration Disorder. He has been receiving. help for many years and he is having A big struggle with everyday life . he has been going to OT , PT, & therapy for 5 years and not moving on with progress of the therapy . WE are at stand still on progress and it is very frustrating for him not gaining skills and his goals like he should be. I had him Tested at Brain Balance Center and found out he has very severe Right sided brain imbalance. He has tested some things at A 2 year old processing some information. He struggles socially big time .
This is the only treatment that will help correct his problems . I want my child to be normal as he can be for his age. This is about all I can do for him . This is not covered by insurance at all and is costly, but how do you put a price on a child's life to be normal? I will also have extra cost from going to Kalamazoo 3 times a week also . I have done all my research and spoke with many parents who has out their children thru this program and have been told I have my child back and our life is getting back to normal. This is A very intense program 3 days a week after school and even a diet change which will be a big opsticle for him.
I'm a single mom on disability, living with my parents in the house with major issues that the company won't fix in a timely fashion . They are paying for it to get fix and figure out the problem. It is causing health issues and I had to move out of the basement. After losing everything we owned in a house fire Sept 2015 it has cost a lot and house insurance did not cover a lot of it. With all my chronic health problems and medical bills I have I don't have extra money siting and waiting for me in an account. I can not ask my parents to help me anymore than they already have. I want Gavin to be a normal child . Any amount would be greatly appreciated!
