Julie Vocate Beats Lymphoma

Welcome! If you're reading this page, you probably know by now that our very own Wonder Woman, Julie, has been diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma. While she fights, she's missing time from work, which means less money to pay bills, buy groceries, and otherwise take care of her family and herself. We all know Julie doesn't like asking for help, so I'm doing it for her, on behalf of all the friends and family who I KNOW want to help however they can (because we all know she would do it for any one of us in a heartbeat).

Let's all join together to ease the financial burden that inevitably comes with cancer! Your money will go directly to Julie to help cover expenses, medical and otherwise, so that she can focus on getting well and spending time with her family, while ensuring that life stays as normal as possible for all of them in the midst of this fight. She is applying for grants to help cover some expenses, but that process takes time, and there are still bills to be paid and expenses to be covered in the meantime. My hope is that beyond medical and living expenses, we can give enough to help fund some self-care for Julie--think massage, chiropractic, acupuncture, counseling!--to help her feel as healthy and whole as possible as she walks through the days and weeks ahead. Every dollar helps, so even if you can only give a little, that's huge!
