Hello! This fundraiser is for a family of 4, who have been recently displaced from a fire in their building in Burnaby BC. The husband, thankfully pulled the tenant - an elderly woman in a wheelchair with sadly with one leg where the fire started; out of her burning apartment and took their own fire extinguisher to try and stop the flames but it was to far gone. This family of 4 with a son with special needs, one income home, have lost so much and homeless. Any amount helps this family during hotel stays until they find a new home. From New Brunswick; with no family here is making this a much harder situation.

Has been a Pac Chair Volunteer for 5 years at their local kids school and also now a school Supervisor.
