My name is Christina Silva.  I am raising money today to help pay for memorial services for my mom . My moms name is Julie Silva and earlier this month, December 15th  we took my mom to the emergency room and descovered she had two small strokes.  A few days later on the 17th we descovered she had stage 4 cancer , metastaic to the bone in her lower back and pelvic region. Refusing treatment and getting mom situated into eskaton and keeping her comfortable was the goal . On December 22nd mom was sent to eskaton and her health went quickly in terms of more strokes followed by complete loss of movement to her entire right side . I sent her back to the emergency room and on the 23rd they sent her back to eskaton.  When i went to visit her she was in the same condition so I called and sent her back to the nearest emergency room ... December 24th 3 am... Mercy San Juan . More test discovered several smaller strokes and she was intibated.  Christmas morning we find out that mom is none responsive and pretty much brain dead.  So time for the desicion to take her off the breathing tube.  I waited until December 26th to remove it . My mom did not need to suffer anymore than she already has . In two weeks I watched my mom fade away from me before my eyes.  I visited her late last night and said my final goodbyes . Its December 27th and i get the call this morning 8:35 am mom has passed away .
