Julia Pritchard ( nee Jenkins )

Hi my name is Gill Davison and I am fundraising for a newbridge fields memorial bench for Julia. I’m sure you know that she was a regular down newbridge and often you could see her sitting on a bench or even on the grass with her dog honey beside her , so I think the suggestion of a bench was a great idea. Julia was a wonderful lady and from the numbers at her funeral yesterday a lot of others feel that way too so if you are able to contribute that would be great .

I have made initial contact with the council and an indicative cost is 1.5k( yet to be confirmed ) Thank you for any contributions and will keep you all posted on progress

update 19th November - council have been in touch and are currently surveying land for bench locations , once completed they will provide the options They have indicated a cost of 1.8 k plus VAT . Thanks so much to everyone for your donations - any ideas for fundraising get in touch - gill

Update : feb 9th 2024 . I am still awaiting the location option details from the council. We have had a donation today of £120 so we are nearly there . I will keep you posted.
