Help my mate bury his mum

Hi everyone,

I’m putting this fundraiser together for my close mate, whose mum, Julie, sadly passed away this week. Losing a parent is never easy, and while their relationship wasn’t always smooth, the loss is still deeply felt. At the end of the day, Julie was his mum and he deserves the chance to say goodbye properly.

Julie lived a simple life and unfortunately didn’t have savings, super, or money put aside for something like this. Now her family is faced with the heartbreaking reality of not being able to afford her funeral. On top of their grief, the stress of not knowing how to give her a proper farewell has been overwhelming.

We’re asking for help to cover the essential costs of laying Julie to rest. the service, the burial/cremation, and giving family and friends the chance to gather, grieve, and remember her with dignity. Every dollar raised will go directly toward the funeral and related expenses, and even the smallest contribution makes a real difference.
