Help Julie Clift BEAT Breast Cancer

Hello everyone,

My name is Shannon, and I’m setting up this go fund me page for an incredible woman who is currently fighting breast cancer, Julie Clift. Julie is my best friend Jade’s Mum. For those that know Julie or Jade, will agree that they are amazing women who never ask for help. That is why I am setting this up.

At the beginning of November 2024, Julie was diagnosed with breast cancer. This has been a heart-wrenching time for their family, but Julie’s strength and determination inspire us all every single day.

On December 6th 2024, Julie underwent surgery to remove two cancers from her left breast but unfortunately the battle wasn’t over as we had hoped. Her doctors have now advised that she needs another operation to remove more cancer and the lymph nodes under her left arm. After this, she will require three weeks of daily radiation treatment (Monday to Friday), which will begin eight weeks post-surgery.

The radiation treatments are a seven-hour drive away from where they live. While this is daunting enough, Julie doesn’t want to face this journey and treatment alone. She needs the support of her husband Greg, her devoted husband, to help her through this difficult time. Greg will need to take unpaid time off from his job to be in Perth for the treatment. As you can imagine, the financial strain of travel, accommodation, food, and everyday bills is immense and overwhelming for the family.

They have never asked and will not ask for help which is why I am setting up this go fund me page. I am reaching out to all of their friends, family, and community for support. I understand that times are tough, especially with Christmas just behind us, and I want to emphasize that no one is obligated to contribute. If you’re able to help, no matter how small, I (and them) would be forever grateful. If you’re unable to financially contribute then sharing this page means the world to us all.

Every dollar raised will go towards covering the travel costs, food, and accommodation for Julie’s treatment, as well as helping with everyday expenses during this challenging time. Your support will allow Julie to have Greg by her side, which is so important for her mental and emotional well-being as she faces the next steps in her fight against cancer.
