Our family is experiencing an unimaginable situation as my sister, Julie, suffered an unexpected and catastrophic neurological event early yesterday morning. Sadly, the doctors informed us today that she will not recover from this. In this time of tremendous grief, we are focused not only on rallying around her and providing all of our love and support, but we are also intent on ensuring my niece and nephew are taken care of in the months and years to come. I know with utmost certainty that this would be her only wish… that her babies are provided for well into the future.

As a single mother who loves her children fiercely, she has given so much of herself to their care, as well as to all of those whose lives she’s touched over the course of her forty-seven years on earth. If you know my sister, you know her huge heart is her greatest asset.

Our hope is that with the generous support of our family, friends, and our tight-knit community, we can ensure that her children are taken care of and her legacy of selfless love, compassion, and tremendous giving lives on.
