Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,
I am reaching out to you on behalf of my friend Julie, an incredible woman and talented hairdresser who has touched the lives of so many with her warmth and skill. In October, during a routine self-examination, Julie discovered a lump that led to a series of scans and biopsies. By February, she began her challenging journey with chemotherapy for her breast cancer.
This diagnosis has really hit Julie's finances hard. She's shelled out over $6,000 on co-pays and medical bills, plus she's lost income from having to take time off work for treatments. As a passionate hairdresser, every day away from her clients isn't just about lost earnings—it's also missing out on what she loves most: making her clients look and feel amazing.
Julie’s got at least three surgeries coming up, including a mastectomy. Her doctors say she’ll need to take at least six weeks off work to recover from the big one, and even more time for the others. While we’re supporting her with this GoFundMe, we should also think of some fun ways to keep her entertained. She’s really going to miss hanging out and catching up with her clients during those weeks!
We're asking for a bit of support to help our wonderful friend Julie during the last 9 months. Even the smallest contribution can make a big difference in easing the financial burden. Your generosity will allow Julie to focus on her recovery without worrying about finances, so she can get back to her beloved clients and the work she truly enjoys. Thanks for being awesome!
Even if you can't donate, Julie is incredibly thankful for all the love, support, texts, visits, gifts, and positive energy you've shared. Your kindness and encouragement are like a superpower for her as she navigates this journey. Thanks for being such awesome supporters!
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for considering supporting Julie. Let's team up to support her recovery and help her return to what she enjoys the most...... you all!
With gratitude and smiles,
