Julia’s Service Trip to Thailand

My name is Julia and I’m a Girl Scout Ambassador from New Jersey. I have been a Girl Scout for 11 years. During this time I have participated in many service projects benefiting my community, I earned my Silver Award and I have gone on a few destination trips that afforded me amazing opportunities for personal growth, education and service.

I was recently accepted to a destination trip to Thailand. During this trip I will meet other Girl Scouts from across the country. We will have an opportunity to work with local communities on educational projects, we will visit an elephant sanctuary and tour the country to learn about the culture of Thailand.

I am a high school junior with a part time job. I am asking for some help funding this amazing opportunity. My total cost of the trip is $6964. This includes Girl Scout fees and my airfare. Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated!
