Hi! I'm Julia, and I've loved interacting with technology my entire life. My dream is to enhance accessibility in technology, such as video games, websites, applications, and more. When I discovered the Human-Computer Interaction master's program offered at University College Dublin, I knew it would help me achieve this dream. I previously attended UCD while studying abroad during my undergraduate education, and I fell in love with the quality of education and Ireland as a whole. When I applied to the program and was accepted, it felt like the opportunity I'd been waiting for.

This September, I will begin my new academic journey, and I couldn't be more excited! As everyone knows, higher education is expensive. Previously, my employer indicated that I would be able to continue working remotely, but unfortunately, this recently fell through. Additionally, beginning August 1, 2025, I will need to resume paying my undergraduate loans, and they will resume accruing interest. Even though I'll be in graduate school, these payments can only be deferred, and interest still accrues. Financial assistance while I navigate finding employment in Ireland will be a massive weight off my shoulders. Donations toward this campaign will go towards my relocation costs, tuition fees, housing costs, and more.
