Hi! My name is Julia Lowry, I'm from Salt Lake City UT, I'm 21 years old and I have a dream to accomplish!! I started doing drum corps with the prestigious Santa Clara Vanguard back in 2022 and I have never looked back. This place is my home, my safe space, my creativity outlet, and my greatest teacher in discipline, leadership, and pure artistry. Not only will this summer will be my LAST OPPORTUNITY do this activity again as the age limit is 21 and I need your help to finish out my time with my home.

I have been selected as captain of the color guard for the second year in a row and this opportunity is important to me and my career. To help me travel all over the country, performing for hundreds of thousands of people and compete in the World Tournament I am in need of $5,500. This money covers things like my personal tour essentials, gas, food, lodging, costumes, props, and so much more. This money is not just for me, it is for an non-profit organization that has molded me into the human being I am today which I am so proud of! As a working student, living on her own out of state, it is incredibly difficult to pay for my necessities, let alone reach my goals and dreams. Completing my third summer with The Santa Clara Vanguard will open so many doors for me as a teacher, choreographer and designer in this activity as I aim to do. ANY amount helps immensely!
