1 coffee to help fund Julia’s Experimental Neuroscience MRes
Donation protected
One sunny day while getting coffee with my mum, I received an email from Imperial College London about my master’s application. After months of rejections, I honestly wasn’t expecting much. But to my surprise, I got in!
I’ve been offered a place to study Experimental Neuroscience at one of the top universities in the world. My dream is finally becoming a reality.
Hi, I’m Julia and I’ve spent the last three years studying at Imperial for my undergraduate degree, supported by part-time jobs and help from my family. It’s been tough at times, but I’ve absolutely loved it and I know I want to keep going. Neuroscience is where my passion lies, especially research that could help people living with neurological disorders.
Now, I’ve been given this incredible opportunity to continue that journey through a one-year Master of Research in Experimental Neuroscience. But unfortunately, the tuition fees are £19,000, and I need some help covering a part of it.
So, I’m reaching out for your help.
If you’re able to contribute anything at all, whether it’s the price of a coffee or more, it would absolutely mean the world to me. Since I received the offer in a coffee shop and I love coffee, I think its quite fitting to ask: “please buy me a latte”. One latte in London costs around £3.75. That’s what I’m asking for.
Every donation will go directly toward my tuition fees, helping me grow as a researcher and helping me support neuroscience research with a real world impact.
Thank you so much for reading and for any support, whether it’s a donation or just sharing this page. I truly appreciate it.
With love and gratitude,
Julia
