Hi, my name is Julian. I’m 13 years old and part of Scouts Canada. Scouts is one of my favorite things to do. I love camping, learning new skills, and spending time with my friends.
In July 2026, I have the chance to go to the Icelandic National Scout Jamboree in Akureyri, Iceland. Scouts from all over the world will be there. We’ll camp together, go on adventures, and share our cultures. This is a once-in-a-lifetime trip for me.
A trip like this takes a lot to plan and prepare for. My family is helping with most of the costs, and I’m working on raising $2,500 CAD toward my registration fees and the new gear I’ll need to Be Prepared.
For me, this isn’t just about fundraising. It’s also a learning experience — I’m learning about budgeting, timelines, and what it really costs to go on a big trip like this. To share my journey, I’ll be making monthly YouTube videos about what I’m learning and how I’m preparing for Iceland.
This fundraiser is run by my family to help me attend the Jamboree. Scouts Canada does not provide funding for this trip. All donations will go directly toward my Scouting costs.
