Julian’s Hospital Stay: Support needed for the family ❤️

UPDATE

As of yesterday Julian’s labs still look terrible. With all the medication he has been on his inflammatory markers only came down 7 points.his leg is still pretty swollen. We are still waiting for cultures to come back. They had to move his IV site today because it was “leaking” he did ok with that. He’s tired of getting poked. They scheduled his PICC line for Tuesday morning. We’re SLOWLY moving in the right direction we just need his labs to start improving . Please continue to pray for Julian and the family as we are all trying to balance, Work, being with him and taking care of his brother and sister.

Hi. As many of you know, my grandson, Julian, is at Geisinger fighting an infection. Last week, he jumped over a fence to get a baseball, and when he landed, he landed on a rock, and it went through his knee. After an MRI and two procedures, we found out the knee is infected, and there are some torn ligaments and things, and the infection spread to his joint and to his bone. He is currently hospitalized and on IV antibiotics and doing some PT to be able to start walking on that leg again.

This is obviously all very unexpected, and during this time, we have had to take off work to be with him. So, I'm asking for support for our family for day-to-day things and help financially due to missing work to be there for Julian. We could also use some prayers! Thank you!
