Bonjour!

My name is Julianna. I've never done an ask like this before but I need your help. Here is my story...

I have the incredible opportunity to study French language and culture for 4 weeks this summer in Paris with CIEE. When I was young, I started learning French, and I've loved it since. Last summer, my family was able to visit France, and when I stepped foot there, I was struck with a new admiration for the culture, people, and history. I want to minor in French in college so earning college credit in this program will help me on that path. One of my life goals is to reach complete fluency in French so I can use it in my career field. The Lord has gifted me with an inclination and passion for language and has placed it upon my heart to return to Paris.

CIEE is a program for high schoolers that lets them stay in homestays for immersion as well as go to classes throughout the day to get credit. There are also plenty of opportunities to explore the city and interact with Parisians. It's a well-respected and extremely competitive program so I was honored to be selected. This program comes at a pivotal time in my life, the summer before my senior year in high school. I have no doubts that the eye-opening life experience of studying French while staying with a French family will shape me for my future endeavors.

This is where you come in...I need your help to pursue my dream. The tuition for this program is 7,250 not including airfare. This tuition includes all of my language lessons, cultural classes, excursions, housing, and meals. My family and I are working to put money towards this, and I was fortunate enough to get a Global Leaders Scholarship to help offset the cost. However, I need contributors to serve as financial sponsors in order to close the gap. In return for a contribution, I will send postcards to my sponsors as well as frequently update my Instagram to serve as my blog. Would it be possible for you to contribute?
