Hi All,

 

Juliana has been swimming since she was 14 years old. She is apart of the Special Olympic Calgary Down Syndrome Swimming team for a number of years. Juliana recently joined the Canadian Down Syndrome Swimming Association and has been invited to attend the 10th Down Syndrome World Swimming Championships. This competition takes place in Albufeira, Portugal on October 15-23, 2022.

This is Juliana's first international competition and she has been training  hard twice a week in preparation for this upcoming event. Her goals are to experience international competition, meet new friends and create a memorable journey.

This GoFundMe page will allow Juliana the opportunity to compete and be recognized on the world stage. It will assist with the costs of her attending the World Championships and to experience her first international competition. We look for your support in helping her achieve these goals.

All funds raised will exclusively be used for this event and covers expenses such as: travel, accommodation, food, uniforms and coaches' costs.
