This Fundraiser stems from an idea imagined and brought to life by two very kind, compassionate, and thoughtful middle school girls: Juliana and her good friend. Both having had to spend some time in the Pediatric unit of a local hospital (they are OK!), the girls were in awe of all the kids they met there, from those who were there for a brief moment, to others who are the strongest of strong, and a myriad of other big little patients united by one notion: they'd all rather be somewhere else. As the girls were thinking how they can make the kids at the hospital and many others like them feel extra special and extra loved at the time they need it the most, they decided to hold a special Charity Event in their hometown Foster City, California where they will accept donations for this cause and will happily treat the donors to delicious home made cookies and pastries made by them. With the help of parents and coordination with the hospital staff, all donations collected at the Charity Event as well as the GoFundMe will be used to purchase, put together, and distribute care packages for kids at the hospital. We are grateful for the opportunity to make a positive change in the lives of our little patients and we appreciate all our donors no matter the amount.
