Hello. Our names are Dusan Popovich and Mirko Jovanovic. We are members of St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church on Barton Street in Hamilton, Ontario. On May 19, 2026, our community was devastated by the untimely passing of Juliana Rajacic Bukvic, at the young age of 35.

Juliana was a remarkable, kind-hearted, loving woman, who was devoted to her family, and was loved by all who knew her. Juliana leaves behind her beloved husband, Aleksandar and their 3 beautiful children: Emilija (7), Milan (4), and Aleksiija (1).

Education is a value that both Juliana and Aleks shared deeply. On behalf of our community, we would like to honour Juliana’s memory, by organizing this fundraiser, with the proceeds going to their children’s future education.
