Dear friends, family, and kind strangers,

My name Is Justin and I am writing this for Nicole and my best friend Jon.

As I sit to write this, the weight of a profound loss presses heavily upon my heart. My best friend, Julian "Jon" Jordan, who was known to many as simply "Jon" whose presence was as large as the tales we shared, passed away on August 8th, 2023, he lived a life filled with adventures and memories, many of which I was fortunate enough to be a part of.

But more than the grand stories and escapades, Jon was a pillar in his family. A dedicated father to Abel and Hazel and a loving husband to Nicole. His devotion to them was unshakable. Seeing him in the role of a family man was a testament to his boundless capacity to love and care and only fueled his passion to excel in all aspects of life.

To describe Jon is to describe an enigma. He was the kind of person whose stories, when shared, would sound like the stuff of legends or a page from an epic novel. Yet, believe me when I say, even the most thrilling tales hardly did him justice. Jon lived life larger than most, and firsthand accounts always seemed to outshine any rendition that could be provided.

While the book of Jon may be closing, the many lessons and impressions it made on those around him will be there for us the rest of our own lives. We are all better people for knowing him and experiencing life with him.

Now, with his tragic departure, the responsibility of his final expenses, which amount to at least $5,000, falls heavily on Nicole's shoulders. My heart aches knowing that the woman he loved so deeply is grappling with such a burden during an already agonizing time.

This is where I humbly ask for your assistance. If you can help in any way, no matter how small, it would mean the world to Nicole in this challenging time. Even if it's just sharing this plea with others, your gesture would be deeply appreciated.

Losing Jon has left an irreplaceable void in the lives of those closest to him but more importantly in the lives of his wife Nicole and his children, Abel and Hazel, but together, as a community, we can ensure that his family is supported during this immensely challenging period.
