I came home on Monday night to my house on fire and I've lost everything and everyone. It was something electrical, and completely outside of my control. As soon as I got out of my car I knew something was wrong, and as I got to the front door I could see how bad it was. I tried to get in holding my breathe and covering my face to get to my pets but couldn't get past the first few feet. I waited for the firefighters to finish their work, who confirmed that I'd lost all my pets and that all signs pointed to electrical in the kitchen.

The firefighters set me up with red cross who helping me out with the hotel for a few days and a bit of money for basics - that is about all I can say or have at this point. Tonight will be my last night in the hotel. Beginning tomorrow I have no place to live, no clothes...nothing.

I'm not bothered by losing all of my personal possessions, but Athena, Wolf, Pepe, Little Girl, Luther, and Senna were everything to me.
