On Tuesday May 5th, 2020, the Ford and Ellis family sadly announced the passing of Julian Ford. He is survived by his son, Everton, granddaughter, Rose, his sisters', June, Pauline, and Glynis. He was a beloved father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend. Julian was 71 years young. He was born in Kingston, Jamaica and migrated to Canada for a better life.
Julian was also known as "Isaiah the Prophet". He was vibrant and full of life. He was kind, loving, generous, and would give you the shirt off of his back if need be. Julian was a member of Jane and Woolner Association, Rising Star Domino Club, and Time and Place Domino Club. He was considered one of the G.O.A.T's (greatest of all time) of dominos.
Over the years, Julian had experienced health issues which unfortunately lead him to be placed in a nursing home. Due to the recent events regarding the pandemic and other issues Julian was experiencing, he was at a higher risk of contracting Coronavirus. Julian spent 4 days at the nursing home with a high fever before he was transferred to the hospital for treatment. Two weeks later, he passed.
As a family we understand that nursing homes are being bombarded but better preventative measures need to be taken to protect our loved ones.
This go fund me account has been set up to assist the family with the immense cost that often comes with a funeral. Please help the family with lessening the burden of a funeral and memorial expenses by providing donations.
Julian’s Funeral will be broadcasted through a Zoom for those who cannot attend. It will be taking place on Tuesday May 19, 2020 at 12:30pm EST.
