Julian and Erin's Emergency Fund
Donation protected
My dear friends Julian Dorscht and Erin Bogle have given me permission to start this Go Fund Me campaign on their behalf.
In February of last year, Julian and Erin's father Brian Dorscht was diagnosed with colorectal cancer. Soon after this initial diagnosis they learned that it had metastasized to his liver. Over the past year Julian and Erin have cherished every opportunity to spend time with their Dad, and cared for him during his fight with cancer.
Brian has been in the hospital for over two weeks now, and has moved to hospice to spend the end of his life with his loved ones. Julian and Erin have both been off work since he was hospitalized, to be by their Dad's side. This is an especially difficult time for them emotionally, and on top of facing this devastating loss, they are faced with imminent financial concerns. Because of the unpredictable nature of the circumstances, Julian and Erin cannot know when they will be able to return to work, making their situation even more difficult.
Many people have asked how they can help support Julian and Erin in this time. If a financial contribution is an option for you, I ask that you please give what you can to this campaign. The money raised will go directly to Julian and Erin for the purpose of meeting their immedite financial obligations, so that they can spend as much time as possible with their Dad.
If the fundraising goal is met, this money will also be used to help Julian and Erin attend their Dad's memorial service in Ontario.
Julian and Erin are both incredibly loving, generous people, and I know it is easier for them to give than to receive. They do so much for their communities, and bring so much to the lives of those around them. This is a great opportunity to reach out and offer some support in return.
Thank you for reading this and considering contributing to the campaign. If you have any quesions about this campaign, or would like to ask about other ways you can support our friends in this time, please feel free to contact me through this page.
