Don protégé
Hey y'all! Our good friend Julia has run into some unfortunate medical issues. On Monday 4/30 she slipped on wet paint which resulted in a badly broken elbow. After seeing a specialist it's been determined that surgery is her only route to recovery.
Fortunately the surgery costs are something that she will be allowed to pay off over time- but Julia has no health insurance and the procedure will cost $5,000.
Our main concern right now is the time Julia will have to take off of work in order to have the surgery and recover, which doctors say could be 6-12 weeks. Being that Julia is in the service industry, not working means no income or paid time off. I'm hoping that we can raise some money to put her at ease while she gets better! Any donation will go towards rent, groceries, and medical expenses.
