As you may have heard, we recently had to let go of our beautiful mother, Julia Mavourneen Parnell, we are reaching out to ask for your help in honoring her final wishes.

Our mother was the kind of woman who made everyone feel like family. She was strong, soft, funny, and full of heart. Whether it was a backyard BBQ or on the back of a Harley, she always showed up with love. She always made sure to try and take care of anyone who might need it, not just her own children, but anyone who needed a warm meal, a safe place, or someone to talk to.

One of her happiest places on Earth was the beach in Maui. It made her so happy to see her family play in the sand and waves while watching the sun set. I will always remember the happiness on her face, breathing in the scent of plumeria, wrapped in the warm Hawaiian breeze. That’s where she wanted to be laid to rest — surrounded by beauty, peace, and the memory of love.
