It is with a heavy heart and deepest distress that we share the news of Julia "Julie" Salazar's passing. The outpouring of messages, calls, and support has been overwhelming in such a special way. Through Julie's role she played in our lives, it has worked its way into connecting us through her stories, her humor, and her inner and exterior beauty. Especially her art, she left her mark in the art-world that will never be forgotten.

At this time, a GoFundMe account is being setup to help bring Julie to her final resting place.

A formal memorial is being put together by her family as they ask for patience in planning. The family has suffered severe loss and is working to restore our strength as we pull off the memorial she deserves as an Artist, Friend, Mother, Tia to her Niece and Nephews, and family fur babies, as well as the most caring person to her Aunts and "Papa".
