Jenny and Trevor Shea could not be more proud! Please consider supporting Julia's journey to the Dance World Cup in Braga, Portugal, in July 2023. She is very proud to be representing her town of Rothesay, New Brunswick as a member of the Canadian Dance Team. Julia was selected to join the jazz dance team and later auditioned, and was also offered a position on the contemporary team.

Julia is hoping to raise money in various ways, including babysitting as much as possible and organising local fundraisers. To attend the Dance World Cup, Julia will need to raise money to cover registration fees, airfare, accommodations and food for ten days for herself and a parent chaperone. In addition, she needs to cover costs for a trip to Toronto and four other weekends in the Maritimes to learn choreography and practice with the Canadian team. She hopes to raise part of the thousands of dollars it will take to make this dream a reality, with your support, on this GoFundMe page! Now fourteen years old, Julia has loved to dance since the age of three. She dances here in Rothesay, New Brunswick, with the KidSing performance school on their competitive teams, including hip hop, jazz, contemporary and musical theatre. Julia intends to pursue a career in the performing arts. She enjoys sharing her love of performance as a dance teacher and mentor for younger children. Julia has performed on stage in productions at Rothesay High School, with the KV Players Community Theatre Company, and numerous times at the local Christmas fundraiser, “The Empty Stocking Fund”.
