Hey y'all, I am Grace and this is my sweet daughter Julia. She is 14 and has such an adventurous personality; that curiosity can get the best of her. As she was climbing up to her spot on the roof, she lost her footing and ended up falling 25ft to the concrete ground. After being rushed in an ambulance to the hospital, she was then care flighted to Children's in Dallas and spent 12 days there.

Some of her injuries include: a burst fracture to her L4 vertebrae, L3, L4, and L5 vertebrae were fused together with rods and screws; 2 broken heels and her right ankle; 3 broken teeth that will have to be removed by an oral surgeon. She also fractured her left wrist and has 6 stitches in her chin and 4 in her left knee.

As of right now she is on the right path to recovery! School started this week and she is beyond thrilled to be back in a normal routine. The next few months will include lots of doctors appts and both physical & occupational therapy sessions.
