Julia and Scott Richards

Help support two of our Door Holders, Julia and Scott Richards. Julia and Scott have been a part of Passion City Church since the early days of 515.  Over the past 23 years, Julia has battled breast cancer which has, in recent years, metastatically developed in her lungs. She has been receiving treatment for the past few years since the cancer re-emerged but has recently had more complications due to the growing cancer in her body and she is currently waiting on next treatment steps from the oncologist. Julia just came home from Emory where she had surgery to help relieve the fluid buildup in her lungs.  We continue to pray for God’s great healing to free Julia from cancer and to allow her to breathe more freely.

Julia and Scott are the guardians of a 3 year old boy named Pax.  Pax is a great kid who loves trucks and is very active and very smart.  Last Friday, when Julia was on her way home from the hospital, Pax broke his arm at day care. Please pray for the situation that has forced Pax to live with Julia and Scott to correct itself and Pax if able to enjoy his life with his parents and Scott and Julia are able to enjoy their role as grandparents.  In the meantime, please pray that Scott and Julia are able to properly tend to the needs of an active 3 year old boy.

Also please pray for Julia’s 90 year old dad, Joe who lives with Scott and Julia.  Prayers for Joe as he watches his daughter battle this cancer and that he would rely on the Great healer and call Him his Savior.

As Julia and Scott go through a season of many storms, let us come with them in prayer and financial support. All prayers and financial support will be greatly appreciated and go a long way in helping the Richards through this difficult season.
