Julia and James: Fire Recovery Fund

My daughter and son in law, Julia and James Lathan, have lost almost all of their possessions in an apartment fire. They just had a baby boy almost 2 months ago and now all of the things they lovingly and carefully prepared for his birth, have likely been ruined by fire, smoke or water damage. We have been asked to create this page for those who wish to offer financial support. They are safe and we are glad to report that everyone affected by the fire made it out ok. They do have renters insurance and are trying to find out if there is anything they can salvage. They will need to replace all their furniture but they will have to find a place to live first before they know exactly what they need. Right now they are just trying to get the basics: clothes, shoes, food, toiletries, pet supplies (they have 2 dogs and a cat), and of course all the baby stuff. If you would prefer to buy the items yourself, we have also asked them to create an Amazon registry to give people ideas. As soon as the link is available we will post it here. They are also accepting donations for any baby items that anyone is willing to give. So many people have reached out to help and we are so grateful! We are so thankful to have such loving and supportive family and friends!! We thank you all for your generosity.
