My best friend’s daughter story- Julia’s story

Hello all, my name is Izabela and I am best friend to Anna- the mother and her daughter Julia and the son-Jason.
You get this kind of the best friend only once in your lifetime. The one who supports you through thick and thin and never gives up on you. The one you call your family and who knows all your problems and never judges your decisions and choices you made in life.
Before sickness Julia was very happy and lively girl. I was there when she was born and saw her growing up to become the girl she is today. She loves to play violin and I heard her playing so many times. She’s kind hearted and emphatic young person.
We travelled and visited so many places together. We spent precious time and created the best memories.. She is practically part of my family now.
Julia wasn’t feeling well for a while, but we hoped this wasn’t anything serious.
As she wasn’t getting any better so her mother had to take matter in her own hands and hoped it was only minor sickness that would pass.
Unfortunately on September 22nd we heard devastating news, Julia was diagnosed with cancer- Hodgkin's lymphoma stage4. At the moment she’s going through chemotherapy in Southampton(UK) she also has to visit hospital in Poole on regular basis. The chemotherapy is said to last for 6-8 months because of its advanced stage, with possibility of radiotherapy after that.
Julia is on the morphine because she’s in lots of pain. Because of that she has to use the wheelchair.
I strongly believe, despite her sickness Julia will win the battle with cancer and live her life happily again. The sickness took away her joy of life. Despite that she doesn’t complain and she undergoes her treatment without complaining.
The mum had to give up her work to be able to look after her, take her for chemotherapy and support her any way she can.
Unfortunately, I am not in the position to help financially, so I am fundraising the money to help the mum with the costs of everyday living and expenses she has to face traveling to hospital for chemotherapy and possibly radiotherapy at a later date.
Thank you very much for your kind donations. This will make big difference in their lives.

I will keep on updating the site on regular basis.

Julia is after second round of chemotherapy. She’s having some scans done and we will await further prognosis and treatment methods.

I want to thank you all of you for your kindness and donations..I am sure it will make great difference in their lives and help them worry less about upcoming bills and expanses.
julia has gone through chemotherapy. Now it’s time to wait and get ready for the scans. They would def show if chemo was successful and we all pray it was successful.
i am sorry I didn’t update here more often, but unfortunately got caught up with work and other stuffs..
I visited them briefly in January. And let me tell you it was very emotional visit.
