BACKGROUND

In August 2024, Jules Uberuaga had a severe spinal cord injury when an aggressive staph infection damaged her spinal cord in 5 cervical vertebrae and almost took her life. She is now in intensive rehab and is facing paralysis diagnoses.

Dozens of Jules' large network of friends, family, and acquaintances from around the world have reached out via email, Facebook, text, and word of mouth asking how they can help Jules in her time of need through this harrowing medical episode.

JULES VAN FUND

We are setting up this GoFundMe to raise money for Jules to purchase a used 4WD van and modify it to be wheelchair-accessible, so she can continue to live an independent life at her cabin in Garden Valley, Idaho. The fundraising goal is an estimate for how much it will cost to do all this.

Not everyone is in a position to give to Jules' van fund, and if that's you, no stress and no worries. But if you are in a position, know that even a small gesture is appreciated and every penny will go to Jules's van fund.
