Julakunda Village Mosque Project

Assalamu Alaikum - (Peace be upon you)

The community of Kiang Julakunda, located in the Lower River Region of The Gambia, West Africa, kindly asks you to donate any amount to help fund the construction of a new mosque for the community. The population of the community has outgrown the current mosque, which isn't in the best condition, necessitating the provision of a new mosque.

Your donation will go towards purchasing building materials like bags of cement, iron rods, plywood, corrugated iron sheets, trips of sand and gravel, labor, etc.

If you could donate anything, no matter what amount or building material within your means, it would help immensely, and by the will of Allah, this will be a shade for you on the day of judgment, as The Prophet (peace be upon him) said.

It is reported in hadith on the authority of Umar bin Khattab that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said,

"Whoever builds a Masjid for the sake of Allah, Allah will build for him a home identical to it in Jannah (Paradise)." said the Messenger of Allah. May peace and blessings be upon him.
