I’m Juju, a fully independent, unsigned, DIY artist and have been making music since I was 13, so it’s been a long journey ⋆.ೃ࿔*:･

With support being seemingly sparse for independent artists, and with the way the industry is operating it seems the time is right to lean on the community and ask for people to join the journey in helping me complete my EP ‘STUCK IN FANTASY’.

This EP has been in the works for the past two years with my collaborator and producer Martin Eden (La Roux, Cassyette, Barns Courtney, PIG) emerging as an anthemic grunge-pop record, thick with driving guitars, heavy synth textures, and cinematic live drums. It’s a world of its own - visceral, untamed, and built for both introspection and widescreen moments.

For these tracks, I've been collaborating with multi-Emmy and BAFTA award-winning wildlife cinematographer Gavin Thurston to bring the visuals to life. Known for his legendary work with Sir David Attenborough, it's a true honour to have him on this project. He has helped immerse my listeners deep into the DNA of the music, co-directing with me to craft a distinct visual world and story for each song - something that was incredibly important for me to share alongside the music and that I greatly hope, with this funding, we can continue our storytelling through.

I’ve been able to self fund the first three releases (two of which you can already listen to below) however won’t be able to further pursue the completion of the record without some help…

This EP is chapter one in the first of my EP Trilogy, to get this EP mobile means a butterfly effect can begin, fully unleashing the world and story I'm building, which I'm simply bubbling with excitement to share !! ʚïɞ

Little more about me (if you've made it this far!)

Juju is a gothic rock force, merging thunderous guitars, heavy synths and a cinematic imagination drawn from fantasy and fiction. Originally from the south coast of Dorset Juju has settled on Bristol as her home from home as of 2026.

Offstage, Juju is thoughtful and introspective. Onstage, she transforms into a magnetic presence - intense, powerful, and unapologetically dark. Her performances channel the raw grit of PJ Harvey, the mystique of Kate Bush and the fire of Florence + The Machine.

Recent shows include opening for St. Vincent in her hometown of Bournemouth at the 02 Academy, PVRIS at KOKO London and most recently YONAKA at the Lower Third in London.
