Juju the Rescue - Vet Bills
Juju (Also known as Beanie) is a rescued Shih Tzu, who was miraculously saved hours before she was to be euthanized. When she arrived, she was utterly terrified. Any sudden movements, any unfamiliar faced, she acted out. She arrived to our home early June 2017, and has since shown her true colours. She has proven to be unbelievably affectionate, a great snuggler, and just a total cuddlebug!
Juju accompanies our older dog, Samson, who recently lost his brother after 8 years of growing up together. Our dog, Tank, passed just a short while before she came into our home. She has begun to fill a hole in all of our hearts, one that we never thought would ever be full again.
She came from what was a very abusive home, where she suffered physical abuse, verbal abuse, and neglect. Due to this, she lost her right eye. With such a harmful owner, she never saw medical attention for her injury. It's up to us to get her the veterinary attention she needs, but we absolutely cannot afford it.
She has made much progress since she's arrived here, her fearful aggression and cautious nature has begun to calm down, and her reaction to new people has improved immensely.
We are here today to ask all of you for help; Juju needs veterinary attention but the bill is simply far too steep for us to raise on our own. We don't have an exact quote, as we're still waiting for her appointment at her new vet. Once we have a more precise estimate, an update will be posted and depending on the difference, the goal will be changed accordingly. Every last cent donated will be used for her, any excess money will be used to buy her other things, such as toys, grooming, as well as things to just generally making her happy or improve her quality of life.
If you donate, I don't think there are enough words to express our gratitude. Juju deserves so much more than what she's been dealt in life so far, and it's up to us to make sure she lives life to the fullest from here forward.
