In January, I'm going to attempt to run eight marathons in seven continents (plus New Zealand) in eight consecutive days with a goal of raising money to benefit Lucile Salter Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford.
Obviously it's a really bad idea to combine physical exhaustion with jet lag and the logistical challenges of connecting to many flights. So, in order to make this mid-life crisis worthwhile, please help contribute to this worthy cause!
As you many know, I am very proud to work for such a great organization as Lucile Salter Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford, and your donations allow this nonprofit hospital to treat children in the community who need specialized care, regardless of their family’s ability to pay.

So, just to be clear, I plan to run eight marathons of 26.2 miles each in seven continents (after starting in New Zealand) in eight consecutive days if logistics allow. If I'm doing this, then I'd like for it to be for a good purpose. Thanks!
