Help Judy and Wayne Fischer Rebuild

Donation protected
As the horrific Rocky Fire sweeps through Lower lake, our local firefighters battle with everything they have to save as many homes as they can,  On July 29th, Judy and  Wayne held their breath as our heroes saved their daughter Wendie MCraes family home. In minutes the wind changed direction and the fire shifted swiftly and unexpectedly. Judy and her other daughter Trudie drove to the home to try to save as many belongings as they could. Fortunately they moved quickly and saved a few items that were invaluable to them. With less then 10 minutes rummaging through the home they made it out seconds before the home was engulfed in 150 feet of bright red flames.

As they stood watching 27 years of memories go up in flames, optimistic Judy was thankful for her families safety. Shes always has a way of finding the postitive.  It took everything out of her to leave her home, she wanted to stay and fight. She felt the emptiness instantly as all of her possesions turned to ashes in seconds.

The matriarch of this family has raised 3 Beautiful Daughters, 10 Grandchildren and 7 great grand-babies.
Though she has endured pain and loss she's continued to be the bond that holds this family together. Losing her Daughter Shannan in 2009 to cancer was a pain no mother should ever face. She continued to be strong for her family reminding them everyday of the kind of strength these Fischer Women attain. The loss of her sister Lola earlier in 2015 was almost more then anyone could take, but again she overcame the heartache even holding her sisters hands to her last days. Just another example of the tenacity love and care this beautiful women posses.

Though their day ended  with tears, pain, and ashes.
They will rebuild, like they have in the past, the pain and anguish will not define them, with your help they will have a warm place to sleep, and a roof over their head while all the necessary paperwork is completed.

They are so thankful for the Hard work of our Men in Uniform risking their lives each an every second battling this blaze. Thank you for taking your time to read their story.  Thank you for anything you can give a well wish, a prayer, or just a few dollars.
