In the last few months, Jude has had to go to the vet several times due to persistent vomiting, diarrhea, and lethargy. In the last week, despite treatment, she has refused any food and has become increasingly lethargic. I have been to the emergency room three times with her and gone through several rounds of medications and work-ups totaling nearly $3,000 - none of which determined the cause of her persistent illness. Today after receiving an ultrasound, they were finally able to find the cause: a foreign body in her intestine. Jude needs to undergo surgery to have the foreign body removed, for which I’ve been quoted $8,000. I have already spent thousands trying to make her feel better and am struggling to afford the continued care.

I love this dog more than anything. Friends have described her as an extension of me. She’s truly my soul dog and provides me daily support. She even comes to work with me everyday.

Anything helps - I am hoping this surgery will be the answer to all these ongoing symptoms and discomfort that she’s been in.
