Judy's son lost everything in the Maui wildfires
Donation protected
"My son discovered fires on 8/8 while he was in the middle of the shower. He immediately left the apartment with his passport and laptop and left everything behind. The wind was blowing 80 miles per hour and before you knew it the entire Lahaina town was burned to the ground. My son is very fortunate now staying with one of his friend's mother temporarily. The cell service now is recovered on the Island of Maui but more than 2000 people have no home and are left with nothing overnight. Kenny is one of them.
He is getting help from FEMA and the Red Cross for water and food. No one heard from their employer about the job situation yet. My family and friends are helping out with some money for Kenny for his food and clothing. My older son is flying out on 9/1 after the Island is open to the outside. We are trying to bring him home."
Funds will be used to help with travel-related expenses, living expenses, and to help replace possessions lost in the fire.
