Judy's Home Lost to Fire: Let's Rebuild

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters,

I’m Ryan Jones, and I’m reaching out to help my incredible mom, Judy, rebuild her life after a devastating house fire in Florida. Mom is the rock of our family—a dedicated nurse, a loving grandmother, and a woman of faith whose smile never fades, even in tough times. But on a recent Sunday, while she was at church, her retirement home—her sanctuary—was reduced to ashes. By God’s grace, Mom and her beloved dog, Latte, were unharmed, but she lost nearly everything she worked decades to build.

As a single mother, Mom raised me with endless love and sacrifice, working long shifts as a nurse to care for others. In retirement, her Florida home was where she painted, welcomed her grandchildren, and planned beach walks and cruises. The fire took her cherished keepsakes, quality electronics, top-of-the-line bed, and appliances she’d carefully chosen. Yet, her spirit remains unbroken, buoyed by her church and community.

Insurance will cover the basics of rebuilding, but we want to give Mom more—a home that reflects the joy she brings everyone. We’re raising $20,000 to:

$7,000: Replace quality appliances and electronics for her daily comfort.

$8,000: Furnish her home, including a top-of-the-line bed for restful nights.

$5,000: Cover extra living expenses (clothes, essentials) during the rebuild.
