Judy's Cleveland Clinic Hotel Bill and Flights

As most of you know, my Dad contracted MRSA which subsequently damaged one of his heart valves and caused him to suffer an ischemic stroke. The surgeons at St Francis in Greenville have transferred him to the Cleveland Clinic for observation, further testing, and gather his strength for valve replacement surgery.  As you can imagine, this is especially challenging in the age of COVID being as my Mom is the only visitor allowed in and that is limited to one hour a day.

So, my Mom is alone in a completely different town having to make some of the most difficult decisions of her life and has no support other than what we can provide on the phone. It's my hope that with this campaign I can at least help make her comfortable as we await news.

I know her friends feel as helpless as we all do, wanting to assist only to find there is nothing we or they can do. It's my hope that the money gathered here will help to make this time for her a little less daunting. The $1500 amount is to buy her 10 days at a hotel on the clinic campus or something close by with with a shuttle or taxi service to the hospital. I have no expectations to get that much but anything will help.
