Judith needs a new Tramper mobility scooter

My name is Judith Mckay. I have various health problems including Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis which makes mobility and daily living increasingly difficult. I am 71 and my partner is 83 and also has many health issues.
We have a smallholding. For the last 15yrs I have had an off-road Tramper mobility scooter which has been such an important part of my life.
Its uses have been endless on the smallholding for feeding animals, checking stock, fetching fuel up from our woods and for transporting tools, muck, compost and crops in our large garden and going down to our village shop for our shopping.
But most importantly it has been my lifeline to nature and wildlife which are so important to me. I have dogs and have for years been going miles up into the surrounding hills and forestry where one day I saw a red squirrel which was such an amazingly positive experience.
The Tramper has coped with our rough and wet fields where we have orchids and other rare plants.
The freedom this has given me has helped me cope with the mental aspects of having a devastating progressive disease.
BUT this wonderful vehicle has been breaking down and I've had to be rescued on several occasions! I can no longer use it. It is an old model which has given such good service but I now have to have a new one.
The cost of a new Tramper is about £7500. I have promises of some money from friends and another charity. The MS Society is trying to help me raise funds. Unfortunately since the Corona virus pandemic they are not giving grants so I am going to be short by £5500.
I would be so grateful for some help. If I am able to raise more than I need I shall donate the money to MS Cymru which works hard locally, nationally and through research, to help people suffering from MS.
