Me llamo Leslie. Mis hermanos, Sabrina y Joel, y yo les pedimos su sincera ayuda. Una visita rápida a urgencias se convirtió en algo muy desafortunado e inesperado. Con profundo dolor y gran pesar en nuestros corazones, compartimos el fallecimiento de nuestra querida madre, como la mayoría de ustedes la conocen como Caro.

Como algunos de ustedes saben, mi madre luchó valientemente contra la diabetes y la insuficiencia renal durante muchos años. Soportó innumerables hospitalizaciones y, a pesar de los altibajos, se mantuvo increíblemente fuerte, siempre creyendo que, cada vez, volvería a casa. Todos lo hicimos también. Lamentablemente, esta vez fue diferente: su cuerpo no lo soportó todo y quedó con daño cerebral. Dio su último suspiro a las 11:11 p.m. ayer (Lunes) Mi madre era mucho más que sus enfermedades. Era el corazón de nuestra familia: una esposa amorosa, una madre increíble y una abuela orgullosa y alegre que adoraba cada momento que pasaba con sus nietos. Era el tipo de persona que hacía que todos se sintieran bienvenidos, siempre asegurándose de que los demás fueran felices, cuidados y amados antes que ella misma. Su calidez llenaba cada habitación por la que entraba, y su cocina unía a las personas de una manera hermosa.

Se entregó muchísimo a los demás, incluso en su sufrimiento. Su fuerza, amor y luz eran incomparables.

Ahora nos enfrentamos a la difícil tarea de despedirnos, tanto emocional como económicamente. Esta pérdida fue muy inesperada, y solicitamos apoyo para cubrir los gastos funerarios y permitir que nuestra familia, especialmente mi padre y mi abuela, tenga tiempo para el duelo sin la carga inmediata de volver al trabajo.

Todas las donaciones se destinarán directamente a:

• Costos del funeral y el servicio conmemorativo

• Tiempo libre en el trabajo para que nuestra familia inmediata pueda llorar y sanar

My name is Leslie. My siblings, Sabrina and Joel, and I are asking for your sincere help. A quick ER visit turned into something so unfortunate and unexpected. It's with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved mom, as most of you know her as Caro.

As some of you may know, my mom had been courageously battling diabetes and kidney failure for many years. She endured countless hospital stays, and despite the ups and downs, she remained incredibly strong, always believing that each time, she'd come home again. We all did too. Sadly, this time was different, and her body couldn't take it all and was left brain impaired. She took her very last breath at 11:11pm last night. My mom was so much more than her illnesses. She was the heart of our family—a loving wife, an incredible mother, and a proud, joyful grandma who adored every moment spent with her grandchildren. She was the kind of person who made everyone feel welcome, always ensuring others were happy, cared for, and loved before herself. Her warmth filled every room she walked into, and her cooking brought people together in the most beautiful way.

She gave so much of herself to others, even when she was suffering. Her strength, love, and light were unmatched. She fought so hard till the very end.

We're now faced with the difficult task of saying goodbye—emotionally and financially. This loss was very unexpected, and we are asking for support to help cover funeral expenses and to allow our family—especially my dad and grandma—the time to grieve without the immediate burden of returning to work.

All donations will go directly toward:

• Funeral and memorial service costs

• Time off work for our immediate family to grieve and heal

• Any additional unforeseen expenses tied to her passing
