Our story, and our situation:

Hi, my name is Kody Osborne, and my mother passed away on November 19th, 2023, one week before thanksgiving.

My family is devastated at this sudden loss, as we are reeling off the loss of my dad in April, and we do not have the means to support my mom's funeral at this time. She did not have an income, as social security had denied her very visible disabilities, and she did not have the means of affording life insurance. I personally am a full-time college student, and my family does not have capable savings to pay for the services and the costs of sorting my mother's affairs. I came here asking for help when my dad passed away, and I was fortunate that the sharing done then allowed us to have a wake and support my mother in the following months.

I'm here again, to ask for help. Please share and allow us to find those who are able to donate, so we can afford to bring our family to my mom's services, and to support my siblings and I in the following months, as we are entering what will be one of the most difficult times of our lives. I thank you all for what you do and have done for my family.

About Judi:

Judi was raised in Massachusetts, and she had me and my siblings raised here with our dad. She was one of the most empathetic people I have ever known. She loved nature, especially camping. She actively sought out ways to connect my brothers and I to who we are, and never discouraged us from being who we are. She had her pride in us from the day we were born and was the pinnacle of a mother's love. When my dad passed away, she did not give up on us, and helped us look ahead to better days in hopes that we would all be together.

It breaks my heart that she was not able to see us reach that point. My mother saw the love we received when my dad passed away, and she was lost for words. I want to make her feel that way again, especially when she sees how many people care about and support her as a person. We haven't set a date for our services yet, but location and day will be given as soon as its confirmed.
