Jude's Memorial

Our gorgeous baby ‘Dude’...

Jude was a beautiful boy, and was loved dearly by his family and his friends. He touched the lives of many people, and throughout this really difficult process it has been quite astounding to see just how many lives were touched and brightened by our boy.

He was always the life and soul of the party, and he brightened any room he went in. You don’t realise just how much until he’s no longer with you to bring that sparkle. He had a lovely, witty, sense of humour and always made people laugh; whether that was with him or at him, he always took everything in good stead.

He had the biggest of hearts, and was so caring, kind and loving. He was the protector of his family and of ‘his boys’, and was always a gentleman and warm-hearted to everyone he came across.

Jude had just started a new job which he was absolutely loving. He had such a bright future ahead of him and so many plans that he will never be able to fulfill. He was about to be an uncle, and was only five days away from meeting his baby niece.

Jude was in his prime and loving life, and at the young age of 19 years old he was tragically taken from us. In his place is now a hole in all of our lives, and the world is a dimmer place. We are heartbroken that our baby boy has been taken from us far too soon, and devastated at the loss of the potential life he could have had, and the loss of opportunities that have unfortunately been missed.

It is for this reason that we would like to be able to give him the best possible send-off, and be able to have a memorial for him. Lots of people have been asking us what they can do to help, and it’s a really difficult situation because there’s not much anyone can do and even we are not sure at the moment what can be done. But, after lots of thought and consideration, we thought this might be a nice way for people to help as we can provide Jude with a send-off worthy of the party king that he was. For example, due to the pandemic we had to cancel his 18th birthday party last year and although we celebrated it wasn’t the same, and so we were hoping to be able to incorporate an 18th birthday celebration within his wake. We would also like to get a memorial bench in his name for his loved ones to sit on and reminisce about happier times with our Jude. Any excess donations will be used to donate to the Air Ambulance Service.

Jude was a young lad who always gave his all, so we would like to give him our all when we say our “See you later”s.
