Jude Allen 'Pete' Honore', age 69, passed away peacefully at his home in Zachary, LA on November 26, 2023. He honorably served his country as a Corporal in the US Marine Corps and retired after 31 years with Entergy. A cook for many and a friend to all, his legacy as a community builder is only outshined by his commitment to family. He is survived by his wife, Jackie Ricard, their son, Jacob, their daughter, Jennifer, and beloved grandson Quintin, siblings, James (Joyce) Honore', Alvin (Susan) Honore', Ret. Lt. Gen. Russel (Beverly) Honore', Mary McAtee, and Lorraine (Miller) Darensbourg. He was preceded in death by his parents Lloyd, Sr. and Udell Honore', siblings John, Cookie, Marshall, Tony, and Lloyd Honore', Jr., Loretta Pourciau, and father in law Howard Ricard, Jr.

Visitation will take place at Immaculate Conception Church Hall, Lakeland, LA on Monday, December 4 8 a.m- 10 a.m. Rosary at 10:15 in church and funeral mass at 11 a.m. Burial in Lakeland Cemetery directly following. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Quintin Honore' Scholarship Fund.
