Judd Medical Expenses

Donation protected
My sister and her husband, Julie and David Judd, were enjoying a happy and eventful 2019.  In January, they adopted their 14-year-old son.  In July, another son got married, and in August, another son’s wife gave birth to their first grandchild, a sweet little granddaughter with big blue eyes and lots of brown hair.

Unfortunately, on Saturday, August 17th, life changed for them.  David was thrown from his horse, Strawberry, less than a mile from their home in rural Erda, Utah.  David was life flighted to IMC in Murray, Utah where he was treated with multiple skull fractures (parietal, occipital, and temporal) and frontal lobe contusions.  David also dislodged a lens implant in his right eye and the status of his hearing in his right ear is still undetermined until they can see an ENT to determine the damage and if it can be corrected and his hearing restored.

David spent 21 days in the hospital and is still facing surgery to replace the dislodged lens implant and possibly to restore his hearing.  At this point as with any traumatic brain injury (TBI), it is unknown when he will be able to return to work…a month, 6 months, a year, 2 years.

We are hoping to be able to help them with medical expenses.
