Help the TCI Youth get to Rome this Jubilee Year of Hope

Hi, my name is Charmaine and I am one of the adults who will accompany the 30 youths of Turks and Caicos Islands from July 24- August 6, 2025 to this Jubilee Year of Hope Pilgrimage to Rome. This event is not a summer vacation but a spiritual journey for the pilgrims.

We have raised funds through other activities but still lacking to pay fully the expenses related to this Pilgrimage and we are asking from your kind and generous hearts for help.

I've been to a few pilgrimages with the youth - visiting holy places, hearing the catechesis, the stories of the saints, the martyrs, experiencing a little bit of discomfort through long walks may it be through the desert or the wild, sickness while in the journey and yet hearing their personal experiences and how it brings them true joy makes me see the love of God not just for them but for myself as well.

And that is why this pilgrimage is important, specially it is a Jubilee Year. Not just an ordinary year but Jubilee Year of Hope. Which is what we all need right now. When all of us are being attacked by the devil through various forms and ways. Killing the hope by being isolated, making us believe in the lie that we are not loved, that life doesn't have meaning and nothing else. This Pilgrimage is aimed to help the pilgrims to have that real hope again. To see the sacredness and purpose of life, to hope in God, to hope in His love and His mercy.
