Jubilee Tupou Fano Taufete'e

Hi, my name is David Saole Letuligasenoa. I am fundraising for my dearly beloved Jubilee Tupou Fano Taufete'e, who has completed her life's work here on earth and fought her best against Appendix Cancer. She was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, mentor, and friend. She had various titles and dedicated her life to being in service of others.

Juby served many years as a Supervising Admissions Counselor for Job Corps, providing an opportunity for underserved communities to excel in this lifetime. She also utilized her career to assist AAPI Youth around the Bay Area in applying for college or provided information on a trade program for those wanting to pursue the workforce. She also worked as a faithful servant of God at the First Samoan Congregational Christian Church of Alameda UCC/DOC. In addition, she was a pianist, Sunday School Teacher, Youth Mentor, and Youth President. Like her work life, her spiritual life was full of community service and commitment to those who needed her. She organized homeless feedings, Food Banks, served on specific boards for the United Church of Christ, and constantly served as a mentor to her Alameda Youth.

Although this is a snippet of her life, my words could never paint the joy and blessing it was for someone to meet and even work alongside Jubilee Tupou Fano Taufete'e! Her life had so many accomplishments and activities that I could write for days and yet still not be done. The overwhelming flow of prayers and posts is a mere representation of how Juby touched so many lives. People have asked Mr. Taufete'e and his family how they could contribute to her day; a monetary donation goes a long way and could be put to great use.

On Sunday, August 21, 2022, at 6:20 a.m. PST during morning devotion, Jubilee Tupou Fano Taufete'e took her last breath and entered the Kingdom of Glory. She leaves behind her husband Lilomaiava Gasolo Taufete'e, son Zephaniah Tineiafi Taufete'e, and many family and friends. The memories we carry are pieces that keep her legacy alive. They will be cherished and never forgotten.
